Motorola Moto G22 mobile was launched on 3rd March 2022. The phone comes with a 90 Hz refresh rate 6.53-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 720×1600 pixels (HD+) at a pixel density of 268 pixels per inch (ppi) and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Motorola Moto G22 is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio G37 processor that features 4 cores clocked at 1.8GHz and 4 cores clocked at 2.3GHz. It comes with 4GB of RAM. The Motorola Moto G22 runs Android 12 and is powered by a 5000mAh non-removable battery. The Motorola Moto G22 supports proprietary fast charging. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Motorola Moto G22 on the rear packs a quad camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel (f/1.8, 0.64-micron) primary camera; an 8-megapixel (f/2.2, 1.12-micron) camera; a 2-megapixel (f/2.4, 1.75-micron) camera, and a 2-megapixel (f/2.4, 1.75-micron) camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It has a single front camera setup for selfies, featuring a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.45 aperture and a pixel size of 1.0-micron. The Motorola Moto G22 measures 163.95 x 74.94 x 8.49mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 185.00 grams. It was launched in Cosmic Black, Iceberg Blue, and Mint Green colours. Connectivity options on the Motorola Moto G22 include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, NFC, USB Type-C, FM radio, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. Motorola đã chính thức ra mắt Moto G22 tại thị trường châu Âu, tuy được định vị ở phân khúc giá bình dân nhưng chiếc smartphone này vẫn sở hữu các thông số kỹ thuật đáng tiền như màn hình 90 Hz, pin 5.000 mAh và chip chơi game Helio G series.

Theo Gizmochina, Motorola Moto G22 sở hữu màn hình Max Vision HD+ 6.5 inch với tốc độ làm tươi 90 Hz, camera selfie 16 MP và có bốn camera sau: Chính 50 MP (chụp ảnh 12.5 MP) + góc siêu rộng 8 MP + macro 2 MP + đo chiều sâu 2 MP.

Motorola Moto G22 được trang bị chip MediaTek Helio G37 kết hợp với RAM 4 GB, bộ nhớ trong 64 GB (hỗ trợ microSD tối đa 1 TB), pin 5.000 mAh và chạy Android 12.

Motorola Moto G22 dùng cổng USB Type-C để sạc cũng như truyền dữ liệu, có cổng âm thanh 3.5 mm và cảm biến vân tay tích hợp vào phím nguồn ở khung cạnh bên.
